In 1995, we expanded the original Portsmouth Brewery into the building next door, creating our retail shop, an expanded kitchen and side dining room. We also tore down a ramshackle wooden shed that was attached to the back of the building and in the process created - quite by accident - our intimate outdoor patio. This hidden, urban oasis, which seats about twenty-five, is filled each spring with hanging plants and flowers, making it one of Portsmouth's most unique fresh air dining spots.
