This is our version of a traditional German Kolsch Style, only with an American twist. The use of German malts and a German ale yeast strain with a lagering (cold conditioning) keeps it to the roots of the style.  Then the beer gets Anti-Reinheitsgebot by dry hopping the lagering vessel with American citrusy hops — giving this light body crisp ale some nice citrusy hop aromatic.  It’s essentially a shandy without the lemonade.
