A collaborative effort between our head brewer, our head chef and Dunks Mushrooms out of Brentwood, NH; Mountain Priest is a marriage of culinary passion and brewing innovation. A Munich Dunkel Lager brewed with a large dose of flaked brown rice, this hybrid beer starts with a classic toasted malt flavor and aroma that leads to a distinctly earthy profile courtesy of the brown rice, which also lends just a hint of sweetness. A kettle and post fermentation addition of dried lions mane mushrooms, adds a beautiful earthy and bitter cacao flavor on an already dry finish that makes this beer truly one of a kind.
