Friends,

American Craft Beer Week is rapidly approaching. In fact, it’s just a month away. This celebration of All THINGS beer has always inspired us to do something fun for the people who make our jobs possible, day after day… YOU!

This year is no different. Seeing how it’s spring, and everyone is doing a bit of spring-cleaning (including us), we thought it would be great to host a bottle-trade to help clean out our beer cellars! That’s right! On Wednesday May 18th from 6-8 PM in the Lapanza Lounge we will be hosting a bottle share! No charge, no strings attached. Bring in some beers from your cellar that you have doubles of, or just something you wish was different. In the words of the Grateful Dead, “One man gathers what another man spills”.

Simply bring in any bottles or cans you have “FT” (for trade), and possibly walk away with bottles or cans you’ve been “ISO” (in search of) from a local member of our awesome craft beer community. It’s that simple! If you don’t work a deal, well, you still got to come meet some cool, like-minded, folks you can work future trade deals with! Gone are the days of a sketchy beer trade in a random parking lot!

We’ll be providing some of our own private cellar stash from the brewers for tasting, and some snacks! As always, there will be plenty of delicious Portsmouth Brewery beers on tap as well.

All trades must come and go CORKED! Sorry, these trades cannot be shared and/or opened at the brewery. If you have the overwhelming need to open and share your beer, get a room! The Marriot is a stones throw away! Hope to see you all there. Put your best foot forward and bring some tasty treats!

(Wednesday, May 18th from 6-8 PM)

Cheers,

Matt
