One Potato, Two Potato, Three Potato…Pour!
The first social of the season was a success. We all had a grand time down at Hayseed; if you had a chance to make it down, I hope you had a fantastic time too!
That being said, our next social is fast approaching! It will be held on February 21st at 6pm and the name of the social is One Potato, Two Potato, Three Potato…Pour! For $30.00 come and enjoy an array of potato inspired spud-d’oeurves paired with brown ales and vintage beers from Portsmouth Brewery, Smuttynose and Smuttlabs. The Chefs from Portsmouth Brewery and Hayseed met before the last social to come up with a menu. We think we’ve got some pretty interesting and tasty selections for you to enjoy with your vintage beers.
We will be featuring the following dishes:
- Potato latkes with house made gravlax and dill crème fresh
- Potato blini with caviar, pickled red onion and gribiche
- Spanish tortillas
- Potato croquettes with bacon & cheese and mushroom & cheese
- Tarter tots stuffed with peas and Tasso ham
- Curry fries
- Sweet potato samosas
- Tarte au Roblochon
- Pierogies stuffed with sauerkraut and onions
- Sweet Potato pie in phyllo with whipped cream
As you can see, we will have an extensive amount of tasty treats for you all to snack on while you taste the wonderful beers. The price of your ticket includes all of these bites plus two beers. Each additional beer after that will be available for $2.00. So come hungry and thirsty, I’m sure it’s going to be a spud of a good time! We will have the Brewer’s and the Chef’s around in the evening to answer any questions that you may have about the food and the beer.
