So the new beer that I am excited about that just hit the taps is the Strawberry-Rhubarb Berliner Weisse.  The Berliner Weisse is a hazy, light bodied, sour wheat ale made in northern Germany.  Traditionally they are served with some syrup added to them to help “cut” the sourness and make them very quaffable.  So we took in all this into account when we made our version of this beer.  The Rhubarb adds a nice layer of sour to complement the wild yeast used, then we added some Strawberry Puree to the fermenter during secondary to add just the touch of sweetness upfront to help balance out the tartness of the finish.  this is a perfect summer beer that you really should try.
